Challenge
Nord Quantique, a Canadian leader in quantum computing, is advancing the development of a fault-tolerant, efficient quantum computer. The primary global challenge remains error correction—a critical barrier to achieving utility-scale, commercially viable quantum systems. To maintain momentum and ensure Canada’s leadership in quantum innovation, Nord Quantique needed to secure federal support and position its work within a national technology sovereignty framework.
Strategy
StrategyCorp worked with Nord Quantique to craft a clear government relations strategy and funding narrative that underscored the importance of Canadian-backed quantum research. The engagement focused on aligning with federal innovation priorities and developing the case for sustained investment. StrategyCorp also helped establish a framework for Nord Quantique’s participation in the U.S. DARPA Quantum Benchmarking Initiative.
Outcome
Nord Quantique was accepted into DARPA’s three-phase Quantum Benchmarking Initiative. StrategyCorp continues to support the company in securing Canadian government funding as it advances through the program.
