The annual dinner in Ottawa where the Parliamentary Press Gallery and the nation’s political elites come together to toast and laugh at and with each other.[1]

Historically, the Press Gallery Dinner was an entirely off-the-record affair and was therefore a more raucous and memorable evening than in recent years due to media coverage.
