Maya Hobbs
Associate
Maya is an Associate in StrategyCorp’s Government Relations practice based in Toronto.
At StrategyCorp, Maya supports clients to advance strategic advocacy priorities in a range of sectors including post-secondary education and land & infrastructure development.
Before joining StrategyCorp, Maya gained experience in post-secondary advocacy as a student union executive at McMaster Students Union leading government and stakeholder relations. In this role, she advocated for student priorities at the University and all levels of government while providing leadership to facilitate campaigns, conferences, research projects, and policy development. Maya also served on the board and executive team for the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance.
Maya holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Specialization in Public Law and Judicial Studies with an interdisciplinary minor in Inclusive Communities and Social Justice from McMaster University.
