Erin Woods

Erin Woods is a Senior Consultant in StrategyCorp’s Government Relations practice in Ottawa. She brings experience in issues management, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement across both the federal and municipal levels of government.
Prior to joining StrategyCorp, Erin served as Deputy Director of Issues Management in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. In that role, she helped manage some of the government’s most politically sensitive files and supported legislative and committee work during a period of minority government.
At the municipal level, Erin was an advisor to an Ottawa city councillor, where she led initiatives on housing, homelessness, transit, and community engagement.
With a practical understanding of how government decisions are made, Erin helps clients navigate the process, engage effectively, and influence outcomes.
Erin holds a Master’s degree in Political Management from Carleton University and a Political Science degree from the University of Ottawa.
