Mitchell Davidson to lead StrategyCorp Institute of Public Policy and Economy
Toronto – July 18, 2019 – Today StrategyCorp announced the addition of Mitchell Davidson to its growing Management Consulting practice. Mitchell will lead the creation of the StrategyCorp Institute of Public Policy and Economy. The Institute will be StrategyCorp’s market-facing think tank on innovation in domestic and global public policy and economic issues, driving new insights for Canadian businesses.

As the Executive Director of the StrategyCorp Institute of Public Policy and Economy, Mitchell will also work with our fourteen senior advisors to develop original research and analytical publications for clients that delve into the economic and business content of government policy and program announcements, Budgets, Speeches from the Throne, and political platforms. The Institute will officially launch in the fall.

Mitchell brings a unique cross-section of public policy and political expertise from six years at Queen’s Park, culminating in his role as Executive Director of Policy to the Premier of Ontario. In government, Mitchell served as the government’s lead policy architect and drove transformational policy in government service delivery, infrastructure and transit, and healthcare. Mitchell hails from the small town of Oro-Medonte, Ontario, and holds a BA and MA in political science from the University of Western Ontario.
