Sheri Meyerhoffer

Sheri Meyerhoffer is a Senior Advisor at StrategyCorp who brings more than 25 years of experience helping governments, organizations, and institutions navigate complex public policy and governance challenges.
Sheri is widely respected for her ability to guide constructive dialogue in situations where perspectives are deeply divided. Throughout her career she has worked with governments, businesses, civil society organizations, and international partners to facilitate difficult conversations, build trust among stakeholders, and help organizations move forward on complex issues with fairness, transparency, and sound judgment.
Sheri previously served as Canada’s first Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise, where she established and led a federal office responsible for reviewing human rights complaints related to Canadian companies operating abroad. In that role, she built the office from the ground up and oversaw review and dispute-resolution processes involving companies, communities, civil society organizations, and international stakeholders. Her work required balancing competing perspectives while maintaining independence, credibility, and fairness.
Earlier in her career Sheri held senior international leadership roles including Head of Mission for International IDEA in Nepal, where she led programs supporting democratic governance and constitutional implementation, and Project Director for the Canadian Bar Association’s Constitution-Building Project, facilitating national consultations during Nepal’s constitutional reform process.
Sheri holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan. She currently serves on the boards of the Famous 5 Foundation and Ottawa Chamberfest.
