Marcus Battaglia

Marcus Battaglia is a Senior Consultant in StrategyCorp’s Government Relations service line, bringing extensive experience across a range of portfolios within the Ontario government.
Marcus served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Ontario Ministry of Education, where he advised the Minister on policy matters related to school boards under provincial supervision and student transportation. He previously held senior policy roles with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, advising on provincial planning policy and municipal official plans, and with the Ministry of Legislative Affairs, where he supported the restoration project of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
Marcus has also worked with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, giving him a broad understanding of Ontario’s policy, legislative, and political environments. Throughout his career, he has worked on complex policy files, provided strategic advice to Ministers and senior officials, and supported the development and implementation of government priorities.
Marcus holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Political Studies from Queen’s University.
