Lucio Barreto

Lucio Barreto is a Senior Advisor at StrategyCorp and a seasoned technology executive, entrepreneur, and trusted advisor with more than two decades of experience helping corporate boards and executive leadership navigate complex digital transformation initiatives. He specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) governance, cybersecurity risk management, and technology strategy, translating sophisticated technical concepts into practical business solutions that drive growth and informed decision-making.

Before joining StrategyCorp, Lucio founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Stronghold IT, growing the company to more than $7 million in annual recurring revenue before leading its successful strategic acquisition. He later served as Managing Director at MSP Corp, where he oversaw operational governance for a national portfolio of 14 organizations and acted as a fractional Chief Information Officer, advising enterprise clients on technology strategy, digital transformation, and operational modernization.

Lucio completed his PhD coursework in Computer Science at Western University. He also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from leading universities in Brazil.
