Kordell Walsh

Kordell Walsh is a Consultant with StrategyCorp’s Government Relations Practice based in Ottawa.
Kordell got his start in government relations in the post-secondary sector, where he served concurrently as President of the University of New Brunswick Student Union (UNBSU), Director of Advocacy of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA), and on UNB’s Board of Governors. In these roles, Kordell advocated on behalf of students across the country to make post-secondary education more accessible and affordable.
Later, Kordell transitioned to consulting, where he provided bilingual policy, government relations, and communications support to clients across sectors including transportation, defence, natural resources, foodservice, and housing. There, Kordell monitored policy files, conducted research, drafted policy recommendations and government submissions, and engaged policymakers to advance client interests.
Most recently, he worked for the St. Lawrence Shipoperators as a Policy Analyst, where he collaborated closely with the President and CEO to offer technical analysis, policy recommendations, and administrative support to support the growth and development of domestic shipping on the St. Lawrence River, the Great Lakes, the Arctic, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Kordell holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership from the University of New Brunswick and a Master of Political Management from Carleton University.
