Amy Karam is a Senior Advisor with StrategyCorp who advises business leaders, governments, and industry organizations on the intersection of geopolitics, technology, international business, innovation, and economic competitiveness. She brings more than 20 years of experience helping organizations navigate emerging technologies, global market shifts, and complex policy environments.

Throughout her career, Amy has held leadership roles across Silicon Valley and Canada, working with organizations including Apple, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, TELUS, SAP, Google, Visa, Capital One, Nationwide, and AB InBev to develop strategies that drive business growth, improve operational performance, and support digital transformation. Her expertise spans business development, strategic communications, competitive strategy, sales enablement, and program management.

Amy is recognized for helping organizations incorporate geopolitical considerations into business strategy, enabling them to adapt to changing global markets, respond to emerging competitors, and strengthen their international competitiveness. She has also advised government and public sector organizations including Global Affairs Canada, the Bank of Canada, Export Development Canada (EDC), Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), the World Bank, and the U.S. Senate on innovation, international growth, and technology strategy.

A strong advocate for innovation commercialization and public-private collaboration, Amy contributed to the United Kingdom Parliament’s Science and Technology Committee on its 5G and innovation strategy and led business-to-business living lab initiatives that developed industry-specific technology applications.

Amy is a published author, educator, and thought leader. She is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Science, Society and Policy at the University of Ottawa and the author of The China Factor: Leveraging Emerging Business Strategies to Compete, Grow and Win in the New Global Economy. She serves on the boards of AIoT Canada and Canadian AI, is a former board member of CMC Microsystems, and previously served as a Fellow with the Canadian Global Affairs Institute.
