Wil Robertson

Consultant

Wil is a consultant in the Government Relations practice at StrategyCorp’s Ottawa office. Born and raised in Moncton, New Brunswick, Wil has a passion and connection to Atlantic Canada.

Wil is passionate about his home region, voicing the concerns and issues facing New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada regularly in his advocacy and within the firm. Wil has developed working relationships with municipal governments, local chambers of commerce, the not-for-profit sector, and economists across Canada as a part of his volunteer advocacy on the issue of guaranteed livable income, beginning in June of 2021. This experience carried him forward to a role with Senator Nancy Hartling of New Brunswick, where Wil gained a deep understanding of our Parliament’s upper chamber.

As a long-time volunteer and advocate for social justice, Wil has experience in meaningfully engaging with elected representatives, community partners, organizations, volunteers, and stakeholders to develop deeper understanding and to build consensus around complex issues. Wil has also been recognized at a national level for his work on diversity, equity and inclusion by Curling Canada.

Since joining StrategyCorp, Wil has supported a number of private, not for profit, and public sector clients by conducting qualitative analysis and developing recommendations to help them as they improve their services and develop strategies to better serve the communities they belong to and operate in.

Wil is currently a Masters in Political Management candidate at Carleton University and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Great Books and Political Science from St. Thomas University.
