Sara Abdella

Associate

Sara is an Associate at StrategyCorp’s Toronto office, specializing in Land & Infrastructure Development and Municipal Affairs. A dedicated land use planner and strategist, she brings a strong passion for urban design, community engagement, and affordable housing to her work.

Before joining StrategyCorp, Sara gained valuable experience at First Capital REIT, where she focused on market research, policy analysis, zoning by-law reviews across the GTA, and supported Zoning By-law Amendment resubmissions. She was also responsible for producing bi-weekly internal planning newsletters. During her time at ERA Architects, Sara engaged in community outreach, collaborating on an affordable housing redevelopment—experience she continues to leverage at StrategyCorp.

At StrategyCorp, Sara provides in-depth analysis of provincial land-use planning policies and contributes to strategic development plans for public and private sector clients. She is also an active member of the Toronto Community Housing Tenant Advisory Board, offering monthly insights to City of Toronto and TCHC staff.

Sara holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Global Development and Political Studies from Queen’s University and a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto. Her master’s thesis focused on design and safety in the final stages of Regent Park’s revitalization.
