Richard Ositashvili

Consultant

Richard is a Senior Consultant with StrategyCorp’s Government Relations practice in Toronto.

Prior to joining StrategyCorp, Richard worked for the Ontario Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing where he held communications and policy roles. During his time at the ministry he advised the Minister on the 2024 Ontario Building Code, changes to the Municipal Act, and some land use planning matters. He also worked closely with the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and other municipal stakeholders to facilitate meetings and conferences.

Before moving to Toronto, Richard held several roles in the Parliament of Canada. He worked for two Alberta Members of Parliament and Opposition Leaders Office.

Richard has also worked on local, provincial, federal, and leadership elections with the Conservative Party of Canada and the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party.

Richard is from Ottawa, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University.
