Rebecca Toombs
Associate
Rebecca is an associate on the Communications team. Prior to joining StrategyCorp, Rebecca was a Media Relations Intern at the Bank of Montreal; Rebecca contributed to bank initiatives by optimizing media monitoring software, conducting research, and pitching campaigns. Previously, she gained experience in the public sector, working for government agencies like the Canada Revenue Agency and Parks Canada. Rebecca is fluent in English and French, honing her skills through academic work and practical experiences. As the Director of Logistics for an event management course, she led five committees and streamlined communication between internal and external stakeholders. In 2021, Rebecca was honoured with a Killam Fellowship by Fulbright Canada.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor in Business Administration with a French Minor from the University of Prince Edward Island and a Post-graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College. Her global perspective was enriched by a semester abroad in the U.S. at Ithaca College in New York during undergraduate studies.
