Mike Cautillo joined StrategyCorp as a Senior Advisor in 2019 after forty years in the transportation and infrastructure industries.

Mike is a seasoned infrastructure and procurement expert who has deep knowledge and experience developing infrastructure projects from concept to completion, including designing innovative public-private partnership procurements.

Mike was a key member and led teams on many high-profile and transformative transportation and infrastructure projects across Canada and abroad. He recently set up the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority – Canada’s newest Crown Corporation – and became its first President and CEO.

Cautillo also launched a procurement process resulting in the selection of a private sector partner to construct the $6-billion Gordie Howe Bridge and international crossing. Over his career, Cautillo has worked on projects that have a combined construction value well in excess of $50 billion dollars.

A civil engineer and former senior executive in both the Ontario and federal governments, Cautillo has more than 40 years of experience working in the private sector and for all three levels of government, including more than a decade as a partner with Deloitte’s Financial Advisory Services group.

Cautillo holds a B.Sc in engineering and an M.Eng from the University of Toronto. He also speaks French and is fluent in Italian.
