Lisa Samson
Principal
Lisa Samson is the Managing Principal of StrategyCorp’s Ottawa office. In this role, she brings over 20 years of experience as a strategic consultant, communications expert, and project manager to StrategyCorp’s clients.
Lisa’s extensive consulting experience spans StrategyCorp’s three practice areas of government relations, communications, and management consulting. She creates and implements strategic, business, and communications plans; conducts pan-Canadian stakeholder engagement; and provides government relations advice and support.
Her work on behalf of public, private, and not-for-profit organizations has led to positive public policy outcomes for clients in many sectors of the economy including energy and the environment; healthcare; broadcasting and telecommunications; the financial and retail sector; and post-secondary education.
Lisa has lived and worked in Ottawa for over 25 years. Her public sector work experience includes policy creation, campaign management, and media relations.
Currently, Lisa serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Ottawa International Writers Festival and as a Member of the National Art’s Centre’s Strategy and Engagement Committee.
Lisa holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Calgary.
