Kelly is a Manager at Strategy Corp, offering clients a background in strategic communications and issues management, as well as political and public policy knowledge.
Kelly has over 10 years of experience in public affairs and communications at the provincial and municipal governments. Most recently she served as a spokesperson to Kathleen Wynne as Premier of Ontario and as a Communications Advisor during her Leadership Campaign and two re-election campaigns. She has in depth knowledge of provincial and municipal government policy files and has experience managing high profile issues and providing media relations support to senior officials.
Kelly also brings experience working in the provincial ministries of Transportation, Municipal Affairs and Housing and Aboriginal Affairs. In these roles, she provided communications support on a number of projects including transit and infrastructure, municipal-provincial relations, mining, energy, affordable housing, and consultations with First Nations communities.
Prior to provincial politics, Kelly worked at the Toronto District School Board where she provided communications and media relations counsel to staff on a variety of education issues. Kelly also worked at the Region of Peel where she provided communications support to the Region’s municipal departments.
Kelly holds a Masters in Professional Communications from the University of Western Sydney and a B.A. in Business Communications from Brock University.
