Joanne Chianello
Manager
Joanne is a Manager in StrategyCorp’s Management Consulting and Public Affairs practices based in Ottawa.
With the Management Consulting team, Joanne works primarily with public and non-profit sector clients, including municipalities, municipal sector organizations and provincial government agencies, providing extensive stakeholder consultation and engagement services and significant research reports.
Through the Public Affairs team, she has worked with land-development clients to respond to the changing political landscape, exercise government relations strategies and solve real-time client issues.
Before joining StrategyCorp, Joanne was an award-winning journalist with over 30 years of experience with The Financial Post, the Ottawa Citizen and CBC Ottawa. Her investigative reporting directly led to the Province of Ontario’s first-ever public inquiry into a transit procurement process. She is a skilled communicator and writer.
Joanne holds a double major Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in political science and journalism from Ottawa’s Carleton University.
