Conal Slobodin is a Manager in StrategyCorp’s Ottawa office, supporting clients in the fields of energy, innovation, and natural resources.
Originally from the Yukon, Conal has worked across the federal government on high profile initiatives, including the Syrian refugee resettlement, the Afghanistan reconstruction mission, and the Audit of the Senate of Canada. He is a former performance auditor for the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, specializing in audits of Northern Canada, and prior to joining StrategyCorp, he worked as an energy policy analyst for the Department of Natural Resources.
Conal served as a senior political consultant in the Yukon Liberal Party war room during the 2016 territorial election campaign, in which the party was elevated from a single seat to a majority government. During the campaign, he acted as a strategist and operations coordinator for several ridings, and co-authored the party’s policy platform.
Conal holds a B.A.H. in History from Queen’s University and an M.A. in International Affairs from Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School.
