Before joining StrategyCorp, Emily worked as a Policy Advisor to Ontario’s Minister of Transportation, where she led the policy on Bill 282 Moving Ontarians More Safely Act, 2021 passed to protect people and families by targeting those who engage in stunt driving and unsafe, high-risk driving. The legislation also includes measures to protect vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians and highway workers, improve truck safety, and strengthen provincial oversight of the towing sector.
Most recently Emily held the role of Senior Policy Advisor to Ontario’s Minister of Infrastructure, where she supported provincial priorities and local needs within the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. During her time at the Ministry of Infrastructure Emily worked at advancing the Provincial Government’s historic investments to have all Ontarians connected to highspeed internet by the end of 2025.
Emily also has deep roots in the Ontario PC Party and the Federal Conservative Party of Canada, having key roles in successful local campaigns at both levels of government.
Originally from Buckhorn, Ontario, Emily holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Trent University.
