Lise Jolicoeur

Lise Jolicoeur, a proud francophone, brings 18 years of experience both in the public and private sector in communication, government relation, stakeholder and community engagement. Lise was most recently with CN (Canadian National Railway) in Montreal, leading stakeholder and communication work as Director of Community and Provincial Affairs. Previously, she was Executive Director of Communications to Premier Wynne, including during her successful re-election in 2014. Lise served as Strategic Advisor for the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games and also worked on the bid developing relationships with the 41 Pan American countries. In addition, Lise led the successful Ontario House at the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver. She was also a Strategic Communications Planner in Premier McGuinty’s office.

Lise also worked federally for more than a decade in several roles including press secretary to Stéphane Dion in the OLO, Director of Communication to the late Reg Alcock at Treasury Board and press secretary to M. Dion at Intergovernmental Affairs. She has served in senior roles in Ken Dryden’s federal leadership campaign all while diagnosed and beating ovarian cancer and Charles Sousa provincial leadership campaign making him Queen Maker of Kathleen Wynne’s Premiership (source: Toronto Star). She has held several roles in numerous elections and by-elections at the federal and provincial level.

Lise also organized and coordinated all Ken Dryden’s media interview and press availabilities when the Montreal Canadiens retired his jersey.

Fluently bilingual, Lise holds a degree in Social Science, Political Science and Communication from the Université d’Ottawa. She was one of 40 House of Commons Parliamentary Page chosen across the country amongst thousands of applicants and continued to work for the House of Commons as a Hansard Floor Monitor while pursuing her studies.
