Rajita Dang is an Associate in StrategyCorp’s Communications practice.
Before joining StrategyCorp, Rajita worked as a Junior Communications Consultant with the United Nations Development Program in Rwanda. In that role, Rajita worked with the Rwandan government and other UN agencies to strengthen relations with CSOs and beneficiaries, produce national communications plans for global UN campaigns, and managed media coverage for UNDP’s flagship pan-African entrepreneurship conference, YouthConnekt Africa.
Rajita has previously worked in Vancouver at a mid-sized public relations firm and as a digital editor for a local publication. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Art, and Technology with a minor in International Development, Economic and Environmental studies. During her time at university, she received funding to take part in UBC Future Legislators Program, completed a year-long fellowship with the Toronto-based thinktank the Mosaic Institute, was elected as VP External Relations for the Arts and Social Sciences Faculty Student Society, took part in the YWCA Young Women’s National Leadership Program, and interned with the Justice Education Society.
