Over the past three and a half years, Brendon has worked in Deloitte’s strategy consulting practice, Monitor Deloitte. While at Monitor, Brendon has led projects across 10 different industries including financial services, cannabis, public sector, innovation & technology, energy & resources, and regional development. Brendon has developed detailed expertise in executive-level strategy development, working with C-Suites and Board of Directors to develop and implement 3-5 year corporate strategy, innovation strategy, M&A strategy, and growth strategy to name a few.
Between August of 2018 and April of 2019, Brendon was on secondment as a Policy Advisor to the Future of Canada Centre (FCC) – Deloitte’s thought leadership and public policy institute. While at the FCC, Brendon was responsible for designing and leading the FCC’s policy consulting initiatives. In this capacity, Brendon successfully led election policy development engagements with Federal and Provincial party policy directors, Members of Parliament, and Members of Provincial Parliament. Brendon was also tasked with developing the FCC’s internal 5-year strategy (which has since been implemented), and contributing to various policy thought leadership reports.
Prior to joining Monitor Deloitte, Brendon did an internship in Investment Banking at Macquarie Capital, on their Infrastructure team.
Brendon holds an Honours of Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
