Ali Badruddin

Ali is a Vice President and Practice Leader of StrategyCorp’s Management Consulting practice. He has over 10 years of experience providing strategy and operations advice to clients in a host of industries including: health care, zero carbon, urban mobility, public transit, digital / retail, financial services, education and consumer goods. His past clients include senior executives of Bombardier Recreational Products, AIMIA / Aeroplan, Greystone Managed Investments, Canada Health Infoway, Nelson Education, IAMGOLD, Canada Green Building Council, Canada-Kuwait Petroleum Company, Trillium Health Partners, Ministry of the Attorney General, Presto – Metrolinx and the Federal Government of Canada.

Prior to StrategyCorp, Ali was an entrepreneur who built his own independent consulting practice for several years. His projects included working with C-level executives in three different international geographies; assisting them with developing global strategy, business model transformation, and company-wide cost reduction. In addition, Ali also founded and sold a successful education technology company used by students in 100+ high schools, universities and colleges across Canada.

In the past, he worked for Deloitte Canada (one of Canada’s largest management consulting firms), Sears Canada and Kraft Canada.

Ali sits on the following boards:

    • Empire Club, responsible for attracting high profile speakers, sponsors and the audience at one of Canada’s oldest and most influential speakers forums
    • York University Alumni Board, responsible for the engagement of York University’s 300,000+ alumni base in 170 countries around the world

Ali holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, where he served as Vice President of the Student Government, board member of the Faculty Council, and founder of Schulich’s premier student think tank.
