Ali joined StrategyCorp in 2015 as a Consultant in its Management Consulting practice.

Prior to StrategyCorp, Ali was an entrepreneur who built his own independent consulting practice for several years. His projects included working with C-level executives in the financial, travel, and public sector in three different international geographies; assisting them with developing global strategy, business model transformation, and company-wide cost reduction.

He has also worked as a Senior Consultant at one of Canada’s largest professional services firms. During his time there, Ali worked on projects covering a variety of industries including retail, infrastructure, travel, securities, information and government, in the areas of market entry, financial and market due diligence, business modelling, performance review/enhancement, global benchmarking and jurisdictional analysis.

Ali is quite active in the education space, and speaks at a host of conferences and workshops. He is the founder of a large and influential Ontario-wide youth network that addresses key issues students face. In addition, he is involved with York University’s Alumni Association, sits on the board of the Association of Career Educators, and is the founding Board Advisor of a leading youth-based think tank.

Ali holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, where he served as Vice President of the Student Government, board member of the Faculty Council, and founder of Schulich’s premier student think tank.
